For me, the purpose of art is to put a statement out into the universe. In this big picture, it could be called a statement of the ‘warrior spirit’ as we holistically exist in the physical and beyond. This may take us to a place we have never been, or back to a place that was the height of a previous experience. I want to present something unique, haunting and powerful which invokes the universal processes of memory, imagination, peace, creativity and the dream state – “art with a sympathetic heart in the service of love”– all universal awareness.
The warrior is that
individual who views
all situations –
all life –
with detachment,
awareness and
love,
and then,
being in tune with the
Infinite Spirit,
takes action with
strength,
wisdom,
clarity of mind,
power
and courage.
